Transit of planets, also known as Gochara in Sanskrit, is an important concept in Hindu astrology. It is the study of planetary motion from the natal moon (Moon placement in our Natal or Birth chart). It has a lot to do with our day-to-day life and was used by ancient Indians to start their day.
The nine planets involved are the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu. When these planets transit through different signs in the zodiac it affects us differently. This can be seen through analytical data for the planet’s stay in a particular sign in the zodiac.
